Job Duties - Weigh Master
- Read scale volume of loads, to accurately record weight of materials for a drive on scale.
- Properly record and document weight volumes and measurements in the system
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of materials
- Assist with inventory intake and tracking using MRP system
- Communication; verbal, radio, phone, cell phone and e-mail
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Previous experience as a Scale Operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using computer, and typing accuracy
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems a plus
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and in proximity to loud vehicles or equipment
