Supply Coordinator
Temp to Hire
Location: Modesto, CA 
Pay Range $21.00-$23.00

Seeking an analytical individual to join an excellent team, as an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator. This role will primarily involve utilizing our ERP system to effectively trace and manage inventory across multiple production facilities. If you have a background in supply chain management/transportation or knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices we highly encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create Purchase Order Numbers and assign to client orders.
  • Run reports and update client product needs.
  • Work closely with various departments including purchasing, warehouse, and production, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient operations.
  • Entry of purchase orders for a multi-site organization
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding purchase order deliveries
  • Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
  • Manage inventory maintenance across multiple production facilities
  • Implement and enhance sourcing procedures to optimize efficiency
  • Coordinate with third-party carriers for hauling lanes, including managing carrier cost manifest and leading RFO efforts
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures
  • Schedule delivery appointments and monitor deliveries for high-risk purchase orders
  • Support the claims process for defective materials and transportation losses
  • Handle inquiries and complaints from internal customers related to suppliers
  • Liaise with various departments including customer service, sales, accounting, processing plants, and transportation to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
  • AA or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Moderate proficiency in Outlook, and Excel
  • Desire to learn, and have a constant process improvement mindset.
  • Effective communication skills; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical principles and ability to analyze data effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
