Job Description
Supervisor: Senior Accountant
Salary Range: $60,000 - $72,500
Seeking a Staff Accountant who can take ownership of core accounting functions and contribute to accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is best suited for someone who is detail-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and post accurate general ledger journal entries
- Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations with clear documentation
- Record and track accruals, expense allocations, and prepaid amortizations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including meeting deadlines
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records
- Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting support
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with journal entries and account reconciliations
- Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, data organization, and analysis)
- Ability to manage deadlines without constant oversight
- High attention to detail — errors are caught before they become problems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to dig into discrepancies
- Clear and professional communication skills
