Staff Accountant
Pay: $45K - $55K
Location: Fayetteville, AR 72703
We are currently working with our client, an established organization in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to build strong foundational experience within a collaborative finance environment.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting, and strong experience with bank activity and balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsibilities
• Perform bank activity reviews and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with the monthly close process and general ledger maintenance
• Support preparation of financial reports and documentation
• Work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with additional accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or early career roles welcome)
• Experience with bank activity and balance sheet reconciliations strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to work on-site in Fayetteville, Arkansas
