Staff Accountant
Pay Rate: $60,000
Location: Fayetteville AR
Amazing Staff Accountant opportunity with a rapidly growing company. This isn't your average heads-down accounting seat. You'll be a key point of contact for GMs and VPs, gaining firsthand visibility into operations and learning how your numbers impact the business in real time. If you're naturally curious, thrive on communication, and aren't afraid of rolling up your sleeves during month-end, this could be the perfect next step. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to move into a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
• Supporting month-end close process
• Assisting with financial reporting and investigating variances
• Acting as the go-to liaison for operations leaders across the business
• Working closely with leadership to ensure accurate, timely reporting
• Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP systems (Sage Intacct is a plus) to manage and
track data.
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of accounting experience; public accounting background a plus
• Some exposure to financial reporting and/or month-end close
• Comfortable working overtime during peak cycles
• Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
• Familiarity with any ERP system (Sage Intacct is used here)
• Confident Excel user (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs required)
• A natural "doer" – someone who thrives on autonomy and taking initiative
