Senior Accountant
Location: Stanislaus County
Pay Range: $95k-$115k

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, monitor budget performance, and deliver insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Manage core accounting functions and maintain accurate general ledger records, including reconciliations for cash, accounts payable, accruals, and intercompany balances.
- Monitor company cash flow and assist with forecasting and working capital optimization.
- Maintain internal controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
- Assist with the development and refinement of accounting procedures and ERP-related workflows.
- Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining organized documentation and supporting annual audit processes.
Payroll Accounting
- Ensure payroll-related entries are correctly posted to the general ledger, including labor allocations, tax liabilities, and benefits.
- Reconcile payroll data across internal systems and the ERP to ensure financial accuracy.
Fixed Assets & Inventory
- Maintain and properly classify fixed asset records in the ERP system, ensuring timely updates for acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in compliance with accounting policies.
- Oversee inventory controls and documentation, including cycle count analysis, reconciliation of variances, and process improvements to ensure data integrity and reduce obsolescence.
Other Duties
- Provide cross-functional support within the accounting team and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or inventory-centric business is a plus.
