Job Title: Export Documentation Specialist
Location: Turlock, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $28–$33/hr, Nonexempt
About the Role
We’re seeking a detail Export Documentation Specialist to join our team and support customer accounts, export documentation, and shipment coordination. This role works closely with the sales, logistics, and accounting departments to ensure all export shipments are documented accurately and customers receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage export documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Track and monitor daily shipments, ensuring timely completion of required documents.
- Coordinate with steamship lines for booking confirmations and Bill of Lading releases.
- Serve as the point of contact for customer documentation questions and issues.
- Confirm customer payments and prepare daily cash receipt entries.
- Complete monthly reports.
- Communicate with internal teams to support smooth order fulfillment.
- Identify process improvements and support continuous workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–5 years of experience in export documentation, logistics, customer service, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with internal systems is a plus.
- Able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
