Their team delivers safe, reliable, and sustainable waste management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. As they continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Regional Safety Manager to strengthen their safety culture, lead compliance efforts, and support field operations across multiple locations.

As they continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Regional Safety Manager to strengthen their safety culture, lead compliance efforts, and support field operations across multiple locations.
Position Summary
The Regional Safety Manager will support transportation, collections, recycling, and disposal operations by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The manager will work closely with field and operations teams to reduce risk, prevent incidents, and reinforce a strong, proactive safety culture.
Significant regional travel is required throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage safety and compliance programs for all operational divisions including transportation, collections, recycling, and disposal.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulatory requirements.
- Conduct facility, route, and field safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Lead root-cause analysis for accidents, injuries, and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee driver qualification files, vehicle safety documentation, and required reporting.
- Deliver safety training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives for drivers, operators, and site personnel.
- Partner with operations leaders to establish and monitor safety performance KPIs.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
- Lead emergency preparedness, environmental compliance, and incident response programs.
- Champion a positive safety culture across all company locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of safety experience with at least three years in a leadership capacity.
- Industry experience in waste management, transportation, or industrial operations required.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage safety programs across multiple sites.
- Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel about 50 percent across OK, KS, MO, and AR.
