Job Description
APS has partnered with a growing insurance agency in Modesto seeking an Insurance Customer Sales & Service Representative where your people skills, drive, and positive energy make a real impact every day. This is an excellent opportunity with strong growth potential and commissions once licensed. MUST have strong customer service skills and a passion for sales.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:30pm | Friday 8:30am–5:00pm
Pay: $17–$20/hour + commissions once licensed
Location: Modesto, CA
Requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License (training provided)
- 2 + years customer service experience with a strong service mindset
- Confident communicator who can build relationships and handle rejection professionally
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers in person and over the phone
- Assist clients with payments, policy changes, billing questions, and claims support
- Build strong client relationships through proactive follow-up and referrals
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance and financial products
- Schedule appointments for the sales team and support new business outreach
- Make outbound calls to businesses and individuals to promote services and referral programs
