We are seeking a qualified leader as a Plant Supervisor, to take the lead in our client's manufacturing facility. As the Plant Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of quality products while maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant operation. You will also be responsible for managing a diverse team of employees and promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.

We are seeking a qualified leader as a Plant Supervisor, to take the lead in our client's manufacturing facility. As the Plant Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of quality products while maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant operation. You will also be responsible for managing a diverse team of employees and promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce product standards to guarantee the production of high-quality finished products. Oversee quality testing during processing and address any deviations from prescribed quality standards.
- Production Oversight: Direct and coordinate all production, processing, and distribution activities within the organization. Review production schedules and orders, making decisions regarding inventory, staffing, work procedures, and resource allocation within budgetary and time constraints.
- Problem Resolution: Regularly review operations and collaborate with technical and administrative staff to identify and resolve production or processing issues.
- Team Management: Lead the team by hiring, training, evaluating, and, if necessary, addressing personnel grievances. Foster a positive working environment that encourages employee growth and development.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems. Analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to proactively detect and address production problems.
- Budget Management: Create budgets and approve expenditures for supplies and materials, ensuring efficient utilization of resources to meet production targets.
- Innovation and Research: Collaborate with research and support staff to explore and develop new products and processes.
- Facility Maintenance: Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including machine replacements.
- Compliance and Safety: Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs. Conduct site audits to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Resource Efficiency: Continuously optimize operational costs and productivity while adhering to safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on operations, system productivity, and efficiency. Supervise subordinate employees and ensure they meet their job responsibilities effectively.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of successful management.
- 3-5 years of experience in implementing and managing both internal and seasonal temporary employees in a medium-to-large facility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and other Plant software
