Job Description
AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing has partnered with a large prominent construction company in the Central Valley in their search for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator. Must have stellar data entry skills and excellent communication.
Pay Rate: $20 - $23/hr.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO- eligible upon hire
Location: Stockton, CA
Requirements of the Payroll Administrator:
- HS Diploma required.
- 1+ years of relatable work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in 10-key
- Strong multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Analyze payroll reports for accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Accurate?Heavy Data Entry of timecards, and job costing of hours worked review.
- Audit, reconcile and process information received from the field to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with dispatchers and PM's in the field for needed revisions and corrections.
- Meet weekly and monthly processing deadlines in payroll to ensure timeliness.
- Entry and audit of tax levies, child support and garnishments.
- Provide Customer Service to all team members with any payroll/benefit needs.
- Process W-2s at year end, ACA and YE reporting
- Comply and stay up to date with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Stay current with payroll related laws such as worker classification, overtime, deductions, withholdings, record retention, and payroll related reporting requirements.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality of payroll,and employee information.
