Excellent career opportunity for a respectable multi-provider medical office in the Manteca/Ripon/Salida area. Seeking a mature minded individual who treat patients and coworkers like family. Hands on MA role, for someone who prefers back office duties, administering injections and other critical patient care.
Job Duties:
- Room patients, take histories and vitals, all charting. Utilize manual BP techniques
- Administer injections, children immunization shots
- Call in patients' pharmacy refills based on protocols
- Take messages from patients, and communicate back with Provider on requests
- Send reminder letters of appointments through EMR automated system.
- Will also assist in minor office procedures: mole and cyst removal, ear lavage and EKGs.
- Call in labs and get results from labs.
- 1+ years of Medical Assisting experience
- History of consistent tenure
- Excellent communication skills
