Medical Assistant – Immediate Opening
Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Modesto, CA
Pay Rate: $20/hour
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant for an immediate Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a busy medical practice in Modesto. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in being reliable and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients efficiently and professionally
- Take and document patient vitals and medical histories
- Administer injections and immunizations
- Accurately chart patient information using EMR systems
- Assist providers during patient visits
- Support daily clinic operations and patient flow
- Maintain a professional and patient-friendly environment
Qualifications:
- Formal Medical Assistant training required
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine experience preferred
- Experience with EMR charting systems
- Comfortable administering injections and immunizations
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
