Laboratory Technician
Location: Livermore, CA
Pay Range: $20-$23/hr

Love Science and interested in working in a Lab? We have a great entry level role to gain valuable experience and learning. You will learn sample preparation, data collection, and analysis. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a practical laboratory environment. We are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in science and exhibit excellent attention to detail, and can commit to long hours through the wine season.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare samples of product for analysis.
  • Enter data into Microsoft Excel and other software programs.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in analysis.
  • Report any quality issues through the appropriate quality management systems.
  • Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and verified daily before conducting analyses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of lab supplies.
  • Assist in generating lab reports.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and coordinate tasks across different departments.
  • Collaborate efficiently with other company departments.

Qualifications and Skill Sets:
  • High School Diploma, Extended schooling or focus/interest in Science majors a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Must be interested, diligent, patient, a good communicator, and eager to learn.
  • Availability to work 6 days a week during harvest season.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Capable of remaining stationary for extended periods during the workday.
