LOA Specialist
Job Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate professional to support Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees receive the support they need while maintaining compliance and consistency across all leave programs.
Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr
Location: Modesto, CA
Requirements:
- Experience in LOA, HR, or leave administration
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, CFRA, and related leave laws
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience working with a third-party leave administrator (preferred)
- Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer ADA accommodations and the interactive process
- Track and monitor leave cases for timely, compliant processing
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers on leave policies
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and a third-party administrator (FMLA Source)
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and case files
- Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance
- Support return-to-work planning and accommodations
- Assist with ongoing process improvements and special projects
