Key Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming visitors and team members warmly, both in person and over the phone, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking current production levels and recording purchases and products within our Distribution Centers.
- Conduct regular inventory audits by referencing count sheets to the company inventory software, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate closely with production, logistics, and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Utilize inventory management software proficiently to input and retrieve data accurately.
- Monitor inventory movements, including inbound and outbound shipments, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within your work station in the administrative office.
- Demonstrate flexibility with work hours, including the ability to work weekends and overtime as needed to meet business demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
- 10 key by touch, and minimum 35 wpm typing speed.
- Experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
