Are you someone who enjoys helping employees, solving problems, and keeping HR processes running smoothly? We're looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and provide support across HR, payroll, benefits, and workforce management functions.
You should enjoy being the go-to resource for employees and managers, providing high-touch customer service and building positive relationships through daily interaction. You won't be sitting behind a screen by yourself all day—this role is highly interactive and focused on supporting employees and managers through a variety of HR, payroll, and benefits needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR, payroll, benefits, and HRIS processes
- Provide high-touch customer service through phone, email, and case management systems
- Process employee transactions in Workday, including hires, terminations, promotions, compensation changes, leave of absence updates, and benefit enrollments
- Support payroll-related inquiries and employee record maintenance
- Administer employee benefit programs and assist with enrollments
- Maintain confidential employee information and ensure data accuracy
- Document and track employee inquiries through a case management system
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide exceptional employee support
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0–3 years of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Services, or Customer Service experience
- Experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, or another HRIS preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
