Seasonal through November
Pay Rate: $25-28.00/hr
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Oakdale, CA
The Human Resources Support Specialist provides comprehensive support across various HR functions, including workforce management, benefits administration, payroll, and general employee services. This seasonal role acts as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR partners, delivering high-quality service and ensuring accurate, timely processing of HR transactions in systems such as Workday.

This seasonal role acts as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR partners, delivering high-quality service and ensuring accurate, timely processing of HR transactions in systems such as Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Support & Contact Center
- Deliver high-touch customer service via phone, email, and case management systems.
- Assist employees and managers with HR, payroll, and benefits transactions.
- Provide first-level support and guidance on HRIS (Workday) usage and processes.
- Coach employees on self-service tools and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely follow-up for resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify trends and provide feedback to improve service delivery.
HR Administration
- Enter and maintain confidential employee data (e.g., new hires, terminations, promotions, salary adjustments, leaves of absence).
- Administer benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and more.
- Support data integrity and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Process Improvement & Team Collaboration
- Collaborate across HR functions to ensure consistency and process excellence.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements.
- Participate in ongoing training to deepen policy and systems knowledge.
- Share insights and best practices with the team to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in an HR, payroll, or benefits-related role.
- Working knowledge of HR systems, such as Workday or PeopleSoft, preferred.
- Experience in customer service or a call center environment strongly desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage confidential data responsibly.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
