Director of Impact - Non Profit Organization
Location: Modesto, CA
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Salary: $80-$100k DOE


Overview: The Director of Impact will oversee programs, services, and partnerships to drive community impact in health, education, and financial stability. This role is crucial for executing the organization's mission and vision, collaborating with leadership to enhance strategic initiatives, and leading community-based efforts aimed at systemic change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction for community impact programs for those in desperate need, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission focusing on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
  • Oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on grant writing and fund development, providing data and insights to support these efforts.
  • Lead efforts to bridge internal programs with local initiatives and identify innovative solutions for community issues such as the racial wealth gap.
  • Manage program budgets, monitor progress toward goals, and prepare impact reports.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Impact team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • Proven experience spearheading community impact programs.
  • Strong program management, and evaluation skills.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for community work and nonprofit management.
  • Strong team leadership and change management abilities.
  • Ability to navigate complex partnerships and manage budgets.
