Location: Turlock, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $28–$33/hr, Nonexempt

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to support our sales team through customer onboarding, account coordination, and shipment documentation. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely execution of export documentation and alignment with company KPIs.
You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, accounting, and logistics partners while serving as a key point of contact for customers.
What You’ll Do

Manage and track daily shipments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation

Prepare and review shipment documentation prior to presentation

Coordinate with steamship lines for Ocean Bill of Lading release

Communicate with customers regarding documentation, payments, and document release
-
Present documents (email, bank, or direct) to support timely payment

Address invoice and documentation issues; escalate when needed

Track and support KPI performance related to document processing

Prepare daily cash receipts and support accounting processes

Complete monthly Almond Board reporting

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (carriers, vendors)

Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

Uphold all Food Safety, Quality, and Safety standards
What We’re Looking For

3–7 years of experience in customer support, order management, logistics, export documentation, or similar roles

Experience working with shipment documentation and coordination processes

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry/reporting

Experience with ERP or order management systems

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
