Key Responsibilities:
- Create Purchase Order Numbers and assign to client orders.
- Run reports and update client product needs.
- Work closely with various departments including purchasing, warehouse, and production, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient operations.
- Entry of purchase orders for a multi-site organization
- Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding purchase order deliveries
- Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
- Manage inventory maintenance across multiple production facilities
- Implement and enhance sourcing procedures to optimize efficiency
- Coordinate with third-party carriers for hauling lanes, including managing carrier cost manifest and leading RFO efforts
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures
- Schedule delivery appointments and monitor deliveries for high-risk purchase orders
- Support the claims process for defective materials and transportation losses
- Handle inquiries and complaints from internal customers related to suppliers
- Liaise with various departments including customer service, sales, accounting, processing plants, and transportation to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- AA or Bachelors Degree preferred
- Moderate proficiency in Outlook, and Excel
- Desire to learn, and have a constant process improvement mindset.
- Effective communication skills; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in basic mathematical principles and ability to analyze data effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
