Job Description
A local Tax Firm and trusted client of AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing has partnered with us in their search for a Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer. Must have prior tax preparation experience and excellent customer service skills.
Location: Modesto, CA
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr
Requirements of the Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
- Individual tax return preparation experience.
- Ability to work proficiently in QuickBooks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer:
- Process accounts payable
- Process accounts receivable
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Post and reconcile the General Ledger.
- Prepare individual tax returns.
- Heavy Data Entry
