Job Description
Direct Hire Opportunity Pay $22 - $27 hourly Location: Modesto APS is looking for a Bookkeeper for a small family owned business in Modesto If you are a go-getter and a quick learner then this is the role for you! Job Duties:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly Statements (mostly electronic)
- Preparing month/quarter/year-end closings
- Posting and reconciling the General Ledger
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Preparing Bi-monthly payroll, quarterly payroll tax filings and making tax payments
- Preparing forms 1096 and 1099
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- HR experience is a plus
