Our growing local client is joining forces with AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing in search of an experienced Medical Authorization and Referral Coordinator.

Salary: $18.00 - $18.50 per hours
Benefits: Health
Location: Modesto, CA

Medical Authorization and Referral Coordinator Job Duties:
  • Process physician referrals for patients in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Contact insurance companies to confirm patient eligibility for prescribed procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments while accurately recording information into the EMR system.
  • Maintain excellent data entry skills to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Display a professional and friendly telephone manner when communicating with insurance companies and patients.
  • Uphold a strong attendance record by being punctual and dependable, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.
  • Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment by effectively working with colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical authorization and referrals.
  • Proficiency in working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interactions with insurance companies and patients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to daily attendance.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to function effectively within a group setting.
