Accounting Assistant
Stockton, CA
Comp: $20-$22/hr

Great opportunity with a great company in Stockton. Looking for someone willing to cover a leave for aprox 3-6 months with potential for being hired on full time!

Job Duties:
  • High volume scanning
  • Create new customer accounts
  • Collect and process check deposits
  • High volume of posting payments from customers into customer accounts.
  • Communicate primarily through Microsoft Outlook.
  • Enter bank information to support the balancing of accounts.
  • Collect information and/or documents to resolve accounts receivable discrepancies
  • File and import paperwork needed for month-end
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Compile, sort and organize accounting related paperwork
  • Effectively manage and maintain daily workflow
  • Assist with Ad Hoc projects as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of administrative/support experience related to job duties
  • High school diploma- required
  • Understand flow of payments
  • Associates in Accounting or Business Administration- preferred
  • Ability to take and follow directions
  • Sense of urgency and initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
