Key Responsibilities:
  • Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation with precision and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Organize and route invoices for review and approval, adhering to established protocols.
  • Code and enter invoices and disbursement requests accurately into the appropriate general ledger accounts, departments, divisions, and product lines.
  • Process disbursements, including checks and ACH transfers, in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize disbursements based on cash discount potential and payment terms to optimize financial efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data and records to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Reconcile and process company card expenses accurately and efficiently.
  • Address inquiries from vendors, plants, and other internal departments promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned to support the finance team.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar roles, demonstrating proficiency in relevant tasks.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient typing speed.
  • General math skills and the ability to apply unit of measure conversions to quantities and prices accurately.
