Summary: We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team and take the lead on critical AP processes. This role involves much more than just data entry—you’ll be analyzing discrepancies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payments across multiple business entities.
This is a great opportunity to build on your AP knowledge, own important parts of the monthly close, and work with cross-functional departments like procurement, receiving, and compliance.

What You'll Do
  • Process a high volume of invoices using 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and receiving documentation)
  • Collaborate with procurement and receiving teams to resolve quantity and pricing discrepancies
  • Ensure invoices are properly documented, approved, and compliant with internal policies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies, late payment issues, or discount opportunities
  • Take the lead on weekly check runs, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments
  • Maintain and understand vendor master data, including 1099 compliance
  • Review and reconcile credit card statements monthly
  • Support month-end close activities including accruals, journal entries, and expense analysis
  • Serve as a backup for grower payables
  • Provide documentation and support during audits
  • Assist with general administrative duties as needed

What You Bring to the Team
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, general ledger, or accounting support
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in accounting a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes, AP procedures, and internal controls

  • SAP experience
  • Prior experience with high volume, multi-entity environments
