A well-established CPA firm is seeking a CPA Manager to lead and develop both tax and accounting services teams. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing client engagements, driving team performance, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across the firm.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of tax and accounting services teams

Supervise, mentor, and develop staff across multiple service lines

Review and finalize tax returns, financial statements, and client deliverables

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
-
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and advisory support

Oversee workflow, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of engagements

Identify process improvements and implement best practices across the firm

Assist with business development efforts and client relationship management
Qualifications:
-
Active CPA license required
-
5+ years of experience in public accounting, with progressive leadership responsibility

Strong background in both tax and general accounting services

Proven ability to manage and develop teams

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:

Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously

Background working with small to mid-sized businesses

Experience with common accounting and tax software platforms
