Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Mobile, AL
Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Full-time | On-site
Type: Temp-to-Hire
We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a growing company in Mobile, AL. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on AP experience who is comfortable managing high-volume invoice processing and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
Review and verify invoice details, coding, and approvals
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Maintain organized AP records and documentation
Assist with vendor communication and resolve discrepancies
Support the accounting team with daily AP functions and administrative tasks
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounts payable or relevant accounting experience
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on-site in Mobile, AL
Preferred
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems
- 3-way matching experience (PO, invoice, receipt)
- Prior experience supporting month-end close
