Our growing local client is joining forces with AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing in search of an experienced Accounting / Admin Assistant.

Salary: $20.00 - $21.00

Location: Modesto, CA
Requirements of the Accounting/ Admin Assistant:

Job Duties
  • Process checks received by mail and deposit through lockbox scanner.
  • Assist in reviewing and committing batches in Vantaca, addressing lockbox exceptions.
  • Post GL entries for miscellaneous deposits using the in-office bank scanner.
  • Communicate with owners about their accounts, with support from the Accounts Receivable Admin.
  • Maintain organized filing for vendor invoices and review service provider payments for accuracy.
  • Prepare letters for board member signatures on reserve checks, process returned checks.
  • Process deeds and title paperwork, scanning and forwarding to the Accounts Receivable Admin.
  • Scan and file vendor insurance certificates, sending them to the designated email.
  • Prepare Secretary of State Forms and handle bank communications for new accounts.
  • Manage non-integrated bank accounts by scanning and saving statements on the server.
  • Handle annual financial reviews and tax returns, updating the financial review tracker.
  • Facilitate communication with management companies during association transitions.
