Pay Rate: $22.50–$27.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Temporary
Project Dates: February–June 2026 (approx. 4 months)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data Reconstruction (AP Data Entry) professional to support a 4-month project focused on reconstructing and entering historical transactions. This role will assist with entering accounts payable and journal entry transactions into our ERP system, ensuring accurate, complete, and properly documented entries.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high-volume data entry
- Pull vendor invoices and supporting documentation and enter invoices into the ERP system
- Accurately code and input AP transactions and journal entry details
- Review batch proof reports to confirm entries are correct, balanced, and properly documented
- Submit batch proof for posting/approval per internal procedures
- Identify discrepancies (missing invoices, duplicate entries, incorrect coding, mismatched totals) and escalate to the appropriate team member
- Maintain organized records and ensure audit-ready documentation for entered transactions
- Follow established accounting policies, naming conventions, and data entry standards
- Meet daily/weekly production and accuracy expectations while working within project deadlines
- 1+ year experience with accounts payable, accounting support, or finance data entry (or equivalent accounting education)
- Familiarity with common AP processes: invoices, batch entry, coding, approvals, and posting
- Experience entering transactions into an ERP or accounting system (ERP experience strongly preferred)
- Strong accuracy, organization, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable handling repetitive tasks and high-volume entry while maintaining quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is a plus
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Strong data entry accuracy and speed
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain consistency
- Basic understanding of accounting terminology and transaction flow
- Professional communication and ability to ask clarifying questions when needed
- Transactions are entered on time with high accuracy
- Batch proofs are reviewed thoroughly and submitted correctly for posting
- Discrepancies are flagged early and documentation is well organized
