Pay Rate: $87,000 to $105,000 + bonus potential
Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager opportunity with one of California’s largest grocery chains where you will build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members to create a seamless shopping experience. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, ensuring system reliability, and supporting key vendor and merchandising partnerships. Your leadership will help maintain a smooth billing process, ensure accurate vendor rebates and shelf-space agreements, and ensure the completeness of the collection process.
Responsibilities:
- Full Cycle Accounts Receivable for the Company’s Speed, Deals and Reclamation programs.
- Order management: Verifying validity of all agreements in these programs.
- Ensuring that the company invoices all receivables earned.
- Ensures all deals are submitted to Accounts Receivables in a timely manner by communicating effectively with the Merchandising Team(s).
- Working with the merchandising groups to ensure all ‘deals’ are entered into the Company’s Demand Tec software.
- Oversees the work of am accounts receivables’ supervisor as well as that of the department’s accounting clerks.
- Manages staff, to include hiring, training, coaching, counseling, performance appraisals, and discipline, when necessary, in accordance with Labor Relations and Human Resources policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a management, leadership and/or supervisory role (retail/grocery industry preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- Ability to effectively utilize financial management tools, information systems methodologies, and techniques.
- Advanced Excel, Word and query skills and proficiency across ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, planning and organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work with people from all departments in the company who have varying degrees of financial/technology knowledge.
