Job Description
A locally owned HVAC company has enlisted APS in their search for a high-energy and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role focuses on calling homeowners to generate leads, schedule appointments, and drive sales of heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions. The ideal candidate MUST thrive in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable making outbound calls, and has a strong ability to engage with potential customers.
Pay Rate: $23 to $29/hr
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K + match (eligible upon hire)
Location: Stockton, CA
Requirements of the Inside Sales Representative:

High school diploma required; sales or business-related coursework is a plus.

2+ years’ experience in cold calling, inside sales, telemarketing, or HVAC sales.

Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills.

Resilient and confident in handling rejection and overcoming objections.

Ability to build rapport quickly and create customer interest over the phone.

Highly motivated with a goal-driven approach to sales.

Experience with CRM software, call scripts, and lead tracking.
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:

Make high-volume outbound calls to homeowners to introduce HVAC products and services.

Proactively follow up with leads and past customers to generate new sales opportunities.

Educate customers on the benefits of upgrading or servicing their HVAC systems.

Overcome objections and effectively communicate value propositions.

Schedule in-home consultations for sales and service teams.
Follow up on past leads and previous customers to encourage repeat business.

Maintain detailed records of calls, conversations, and sales activity in CRM software.

Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Stay informed on residential HVAC systems, financing options, and promotions.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that will include weekends.
