Full Charge Bookkeeper
Direct Hire
Pay Range: $27.00 - $32.00
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our company’s financial recordkeeping. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and various other bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable by ensuring timely vendor payments and collections .
- Handle accounts receivable through the Epicor POS system.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accounting records align with bank statements.
- Process payroll in-house, including quarterly reports using QuickBooks and Deputy timekeeping software.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain sales tax compliance by tracking and filing sales tax returns according to state regulations.
- Update and maintain the general ledger with accurate financial data.
- Collaborate closely with the CPA firm for ongoing financial oversight.
- Manage and track licenses (e.g., DOT, DOJ).
- Oversee HR and benefits administration, including employee onboarding, open enrollment, and working with insurance providers.
- Perform additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Epicor, Deputy, and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with financial reporting and sales tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
